It does not matter how beautiful your site is, if you do not register it with the search engines search engines, you are selling your site short and eliminating a lot of visitors to your site. Once you have decided to have your own site, you must but a domain and hosting i.e. name and webspace for your site. While designing DO have text written on your Homepage. Some search engines use this text to match the search request with your web site. If you do not have any readable text on your Homepage you will not receive a proper listing.
